I'm back!!
Well, life has been running so fast I can hardly keep up and do the things I love doing. Fortunately I got a spare minute and decided to post.
First of all my grandmother has been very sick. She was in intensive care until about a month ago. They let her come home to recuperate. She still needs a lot of care and my aunt was very overworked. So my mom packed us up and gave us a break from school and we went up. And our cousins had spring break right when we were planning on leaving. So I’ve been playing with them all week. And my cousin made me the cutest necklace in the world. Its made of tiny little beads formed into a bunch of flowers. We’ve had lots of fun . Once we rented a movie and pulled the TV outside and hopped into my uncles hot tub and watched the movie while we were in the hot tub. It was very fun. And the other day we flew kites.
In fact I wanted to tell you something cool. I found a parable in the kites. We are like the kites and God is like the person flying the kite. We need opposition to keep up. And when the kite is falling you can either give string or take string from the kite. And I have found that if you pull in some string then it will gain altitude and if you give string it will lose altitude. And so sometimes when I feel that God is holding me back for no reason really he is giving me a chance to fly. So I will try to trust in the Lord and he will make me soar. It really helped me as I felt I was being held back. But now I realize that he is preparing me to soar. And even though I knew that before it helps to see it in a place where I can understand it.
Well, my mom is calling me to come watch Newsies with her so I will post more later.
